As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: "See that no one knows about this!" But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land. Matthew 9:27-31
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea." it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21: 21-22
And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there," and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Matthew 17:20
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must
believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
What pleases God? Have you ever asked that before? Faith is what pleases God. If
we want to please God then have faith in Him. The Scriptures says, now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Faith is always in the present tense, 'now." In another translation it says, evidence of things not seen . even if we do not see with our physical eyes, yet He is always around; the unseen guest of our life. God is spirit, you can't see Him with your naked eye. [Someday we will see Him as He is when He translates our body into a glorified body ]
Two blind men need healing - Jesus asked them first, "do you believe that I am able to heal you" and 'yes' was their reply and so Jesus said, 'It shall be done to you according to your faith." How much faith is needed for a blind man to see? Jesus was the one who answered again, the size of a mustard seed. Can you imagine a mustard seed, it does not take so much to receive healing, deliverance - it is as small as a mustard seed! We can even move a mountain from one place to another if we have a mustard seed-size faith. What 'mountain' are you presently battling with? Jesus said, speak to your mountain. It takes faith in God to believe that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer! Come now; let's exercise this 'mustard seed' size faith !!!!!
Have a great day!
