Gentle Reminder

Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men. ~ Titus 3:1-2

Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. ~ 1 Peter 2:13-15

To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. ~ 1 Peter 3:8-9

The Word of God has something to say to us, as employees. We are subject ourselves to rulers, authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men. I know that was a long list of 'to do' but the Word of God is all-encompassing, even interaction in the office or at work, at home, wherever and whatever situation. The Scriptures says, submit ourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution..etc, Be aware that we submit ourselves for a much greater purpose... for the Lord's sake; not for our sake but for Him who instituted good manners and right conduct.

And to sum up, all of us need to be live with others in harmonious manner, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, humble in spirit, not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead. Actually, it takes a lifetime to do all of them, let's start today. It is not to be good for a while then abandon these kind deeds afterward, but as long as we live, we need to do it. The power and energy to do it; by the Holy Spirit of God alone, not in our own might but by his strength and power.
