So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door, if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. - John 10:7-9.

The idea of Jesus explaining He is the door gives us something to think about. Although He is God-man, he compared Himself to a door, an inanimate object. Just think of a door. In a house, there must be at least two doors - front and back. What Jesus was saying is He was both the front door and the back door. You cannot get inside a house without going through the door, in case you get in through the windows - you really do not belong to that house, you are a stranger, unauthorized to enjoy the comfort and security of that house.
Jesus said that in God's house, He is the door. If anyone enters through the window, he/she is not part of that house and does not belong there. He gave another emphasis by saying, ...
I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me. - John 14:6
He also said that those who enter through Him will be saved. Salvation is only through Him, no other way. And He also said that they who receive Him will go IN and out and find pasture. Pasture speaks of spiritual food, nourishment of your spirit, soul and body. He is the only one who satisfies. He won't feed you with yesterday's food but He will always prepare fresh food everyday - for your growth, nourishment, health, enjoyment, vitality, long life, satisfaction.
I recommend that you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior and Redeemer of your life. He will never fail. HE NEVER FAILS.
