Overcome Struggles And Walk In Victory

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. - 1 John 4:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith. - 1 John 5:4

You are from God - all human beings were designed by a Creator. As God is the Creator, we are from God.

Born of God - God designed us to belong to a family, (for God said,...be fruitful and multiply...Genesis 1:28) from the union of father and mother comes children. Born of God is different; just as to be part of a family, means you were born with a family name of your father and mother; there is also what you call "a spiritual birth" in order to belong to the family of God.

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” - John 3:3

"The way" is through Jesus Christ whom God has sent to redeem us back to God Himself. When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord of our lives, we become the adopted spiritual children of God and have eternal life. We will enjoy all the benefits of being a son or a daughter of God through Jesus Christ.

Greater is HE who is in you than who is in the world - The 'Greater' means Jesus Christ, who now lives in me and you, will mean overcoming 'them'. 'Them' speaks of Satan, his demons and all those who are influenced by evil, as well as the world system of ungodliness. Because we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we will overcome temptation, trials, tribulation, difficulties but still be strong in the Lord and in His Mighty Power. If we are born of God (spiritual birth) then we will overcome the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, 'our faith.' Faith - is to believe and trust God just as He said He is. (for we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7)

The 'world'; does not mean the physical earth but rather the evil system that permeates society influenced by Satan and his demons.

Now if we are from God and born of God, the assurance of Scripture is that WE WILL OVERCOME! WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS IN OUR DAILY LIVES!
