Promise

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? -Numbers 23:19

In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,

-Titus 1:2

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is Faithful; -Hebrews 10:23

How often have we heard this saying "Promises are made to be broken." It may particularly refer to man, but not concerning God. He said, "God is not a man, that he should lie." God doesn't lie for lying is not part of His character. He is absolutely holy and righteous. There is no hidden agenda with God. All of what He revealed in Scripture is trustworthy. His promises are true as well.

We anchor our faith (belief and trust) based on His Word, not on man's word. We must know His Word so that our faith may grow in Him. In whatever circumstances you are right now, He alone can do things which may seem impossible to us but it is an opportunity for Him to show forth His Glory and Power.

Let us come and claim His promises; there are more than 7,000 of them in the Bible!

Do you want to claim God's Promises?

If you have heard from someone that your closest neighbor promised to give GIFTS to his friends, would you also receive a gift even if you don't have a relationship with that neighbor? Let your Will be done to me. From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. Put a new spirit in me and give me a new heart, in Your Powerful Name Jesus I ask and pray, Amen.
