But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work. - 2 Chronicles 15:7
Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” - 2 Chronicles 14:11

This was the time when King Asa of Judah had a battle against an army of a million men and 300 chariots - the people of Judah were outnumbered by half. The King turned to the LORD and prayed [2 Chronicles 14:11] and the Lord helped him and won this battle.

When they returned from this victorious battle, a prophet of God met Him and said that "if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you." Afterward, an encouragement was given by saying, But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.

How often do we want reward? I believe all of us want reward from God all the time. Since He is really the one who sees everything, He truly is the rewarder of all good things. King Asa did the right thing by praying and seeking the face of God in order to win this battle and God did not fail Him. Because King Asa trusted the LORD promised to bless him.

Reward comes only through trusting God, relying on His strength rather than our own. If we seek Him, we will find Him. . . if we seek Him with all our heart. Seeking Him is not only during times of difficulties and trials and afterward forsake Him when all is well, but rather, consistently seeking Him either in good times or bad. Then . . . His blessings will be continuous. Many times He will give us more than we ask or even think of, His blessings overflow.

That's our Creator God, our Father in heaven who bountifully blesses us!!!!!!

Let us trust Him completely.
