Success

[7] Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. [8] This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. - Joshua 1:7,8

Moses was gone, Joshua took over as the leader of Israel. The LORD revealed to Joshua the secret of success. As a leader, He told him to be strong and courageous. Then God said, be careful to follow the 'law.' It is not merely following the commands that makes us right with God but rather, we do it with care, out of reverence and respect to our Creator God. We should make an extra effort to read God's word daily.

1) Follow the straight path - don't try to make a shortcut into God's Word - either right or left;

2) We should always talk/discuss about God's commands - how we can obey diligently;

3) Meditate/think about His laws day and night.

When we do, He will make our way prosperous and He will give us success.

Yes, successful people are those who diligently follow God and His commands.
