The God of Heavens - Revealer of Mysteries

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of Heaven; Daniel said: "Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to him." It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. "It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.

" To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise for You have given me wisdom and power; even now You have made known to me what we requested of You; for You have made known to us the king's matter." ~ Daniel 2:19-23

Daniel and his three friends were taken captive in Babylon. They studied all about this new nation for three years, afterward they were drafted into the king's service. One day the king shared that he had a dream but he forgot the dream. He requested that the dream and interpretation be revealed. The people could not tell the dream of the king and the interpretation. So the king was furious and would kill all of them if they will not be able to tell his dream and its interpretation.

Daniel and his three friends prayed together for God to reveal the king's dream and its interpretation. God gave the dream and interpretation thereof, so here is how Daniel praised the God of heavens, revealer of mysteries.

We too can get so much out of the Word of God. It tells us that only God can reveal matters too difficult for us; that if we ask any hard situation in our lives surely He will reveal it as we earnestly seek HIM. That God is all powerful and full of wisdom. He can change anything - even times and seasons, removes or establishes kings. He alone gives wisdom and understanding to man. He knows what is hidden and He is light.

Whatever you need right now, you can ask God to reveal things too difficult for you to understand and no doubt about it, He will speak to you!
