Wise

The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Proverbs 18:15

Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days. Many plans are in a man's heart but the counsel of the Lord will stand. Proverbs 19:20-21

There are several words that are beneficial to you and me, i.e. prudent - careful / practical / wise / far-sighted; knowledge - information / understanding / wisdom / intelligence; wise - intelligent / prudent / sensible; counsel - advice/guidance/ direction / warning / direct/ instruct/ assist. So the words prudent, knowledge, wise, counsel, are inter-related. A man who is far-sighted [prudent] seeks to acquire knowledge/wisdom. But wait, the Lord has all knowledge, all wisdom. If we seek out his counsel and accept discipline from Him, we will be wise for the rest of our days.

One more thing, even if we have many plans, ultimately God's counsel will stand. Seek wisdom from God; he will bountifully fill you to overflowing.
