Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be established. Proverbs 16:3
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with Him. Proverbs 16:7
The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
Since we've known THE WAY, what are we to do? The word is commit. When we include and acknowledge God in our way, the benefits are awesome: a) He will be the one to establish our plans. b) God will direct our steps. c) Make your paths straight. d) Even our enemies [those who don't like or contradict us] will be at peace with us. That's a promise of God to those who will do so.
One great example of commitment is Abram and his wife, Sarai. Abram and Sarai were their original names. God called Abram and led him to depart from his own land and kindred to a land that God promised him. He obeyed God's way instead of his own way. Afterward, God changed their names to Abraham and Sarah. God included His name to their names and lo and behold, they were never the same again. They are remembered all throughout history concerning their faith and obedience to God. The question arises once again: would we include God in everything that we do? We have to decide for ourselves if we will do. Find out and commit our way to Him who knows everything.
He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. Proverbs 16:20
Have a great day!
