Difficult

After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, then I prayed to the LORD saying, 'Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You. Jeremiah 32:16-17

Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, 'Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for me? Jeremiah 32:27

We all experience difficulties, right? The prophet Jeremiah had experienced too many difficulties during his time. He is called the' Weeping Prophet'. His beloved people were stubborn, despite repeated warnings they did not heed to the call of repentance and so punishment had come. He was accused of being a traitor by his own countrymen. His heart is for God and he courageously spoke the word of God.

Even if the people were exiled and the land became desolate, God told him to buy a piece of land. By faith he did, knowing that God knows what He is doing and someday their place will be inhabited again. Then Jeremiah prayed - Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for you. After his prayer, the Lord spoke to him through a question, 'Is anything too difficult for me?

You and I can answer that as well. How many times have God answered our prayer? Countless times, right? If you are facing difficulties now, remember that there is nothing too hard or too difficult for God to do. He is all powerful. He can do anything, anything that will benefit you and me. If we ask Him, He will graciously do it. He is a gentleman; He would not intervene until we request Him to do it for us.
