Foundation

As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30

The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11

There is a great foundation which is sure forever. Which one?... the word of God. Jesus said, "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Matthew 5:18

The word of the LORD is.. tried; perfect- restoring the soul; sure-making wise the simple; right-rejoicing the heart; pure-enlightening the eyes; clean-enduring forever, the Word of God will judge us someday; it is God's basis of true and righteous living. The Word of God warns us; in keeping them there is great reward. The Word of God is desirable than gold and sweeter than honey.

Why all these description of the Word of God... because God the author Himself is perfect, blameless, true, a shield, refuge, sure, full of wisdom and He will never make a mistake. He is an anchor forever.
