THE EYES

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, watching the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. 2 Chronicles 16:9

It is comforting and encouraging to know that God sees and watches us wherever we are. We can call on him anytime since He is always awake. At the same time, it gives us the creeps that God watches all that we do and we cannot hide from Him. We can be confident if we are doing right but if we hide something, even darkness cannot hide us.

In the New Testament something was written about darkness; "In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:5

On the other hand, the Lord's eyes move to and fro throughout the earth and will strongly support us if our hearts are completely His. When we belong to Him and He belongs to us we will never be afraid, for He is always there, ready to help us in our time of need.
