O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart. He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; He swears to his own hurt and does not change; He does not put out his money at interest, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. Psalm 15:1-5

Here are a couple of things which make a man/woman confident to come before God:

a) walks with integrity. [honesty

b) works righteousness;

c) speaks truth in his/her heart,

d) not a slanderer,

e) does no evil to his neighbor,

f) nor reproach against his/her friend;

g) does not tolerate troublemakers but honors those who fear the LORD; h) when he/she promises something, he/she fulfills it

i) does not charge interest: [The Israelites are not to charge interest with other Israelites but are permitted to charge interest to foreigners [not exorbitant, reasonable]

i) does not accept bribe against the innocent. [bribes' result is injustice]

All of the above speaks about how we treat others. God is interested on how we conduct ourselves with our fellowmen. We may say we love God (whom we do not see], and we hate our brother [whom we see and deals with] is violating God's command to love. He put it this way: Love God above all and love thy neighbors as thyself. If we are able to see ourselves this way in all our dealings, then we can come before God in faith and confidence.

Have a blessed work week!
